In-Room Dining Server

A restaurant server takes orders, answers questions about the menu and food, sells the restaurant’s food and drinks, takes payment, communicates orders with the kitchen staff, seats customers, and helps with customer service and cleaning.

Responsibilities

  1. Practice intuitive, aware, understated in-room dining service.
  2. Anticipate guests’ needs based on body language, eye contact, and level of engagement.
  3. Ensure 100% accuracy of delivered items to rooms.
  4. Maintain organization & cleanliness of the In-Room Dining in the Inn.
  5. Communicate thoroughly and efficiently with the F&B Management and Culinary team about any operations, ordering, or logistical needs.
  6. Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property-specific processes to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
  7. Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
  8. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  9. Follow appropriate procedures for serving alcohol.
  10. Report any employee, guest, and/or vendor incidents and accidents to management at the time of the incident and/or accident.
  11. Follow all state and local laws for serving alcohol responsibly (e.g., last call times).
  12. Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
  13. Complete closing duties, including storing all reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning all equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing daily cleaning checklist.

  • At least 1 year of hotel experience.
  • Prior luxury experience is preferred

Supervisor de Front Desk (Four Seasons Hotel)

Supervises a given shift at the Front Desk. Directs staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment.

Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

Responsibilities

  1. Checks in guest in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged.
  2. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest.
  3. Checks out guest at end of stay.
  4. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction.
  5. Resolves customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
  6. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
  7. Maintains a balanced bank assigned by the hotel. Makes change, cashes checks, exchanges foreign currency.
  8. Reconciles all transactions at the close of each shift.
  9. Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set
  10. Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  11. Accepts reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff.
  12. Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator.
